As a Summer Intern at Bain, you will have the same role as a starting Associate Consultant. Together with a Bain team, you will dive deep into a client's most challenging business issues, and work with your client to deliver tangible results.
So, what will it really mean for you?
Learn the job
Always wanted to learn the skills of a strategy consultant? As an intern, you will receive formal training and intense senior coaching throughout your time at Bain. In addition, an associate consultant will be assigned as your 'buddy', for all the daily tips, tricks and questions.
Be part of a team
Of course, you will not have to tackle your client's challenges on your own. You will be part of a full Bain team, with daily intense interactions with the other team members - from other associate consultants to the partner on the case.
Work with the client
On the vast majority of our projects, we work at the client site. And as part of the team, so will you! As an intern you will be exposed to and interact with your client as of day one.
Go abroad
Wondering how the ways of working differ at multinationals in London or Paris? Our projects often involve some travel - and you will get the possibility to travel with the team, from the occasional one day trips up to four days per week. But every Friday, everybody gathers in the office in Brussels, to catch up with the colleagues and enjoy a drink after work all together.
Get to know the tools
You will have access to all our resources: Bain's worldwide online experience centre, our virtual 'university', the research centre and library in the office and a wide range of external sources and databases.
Work hard, play hard!
Friday night office drinks, celebration dinners with your case team, the Brussels office off-site, the Bain World Soccer Cup ... just some examples of the fun activities you'll be part of. Those will be the perfect occasions to unwind after an intense week on the project, and to get to know everyone in the office!
