Bain Brussels opened its offices in Brussels in 1990. Our successful track record in the Benelux business community has allowed us to grow at an exponential rate while continuing to provide excellent customised service.

We completed our 100th case in 1998 after being in operation for just five years. Our case teams work on key strategic decisions for clients, helping to identify opportunities for growth and achieve tangible results.

Client success stories from the Brussels office:

  • A telecom company faced major changes when new competitors entered the market. On the basis of in-depth internal and external analyses, Bain formulated the main points for a new strategy. Together with the management board, Bain drew up a detailed implementation plan and worked closely with the client throughout the overall implementation; this led to increased market share.
  • The market for a professional-services firm had changed considerably by the rapid internationalisation of clients. On the basis of detailed analyses, Bain developed and put in place a new overall strategy and action plans for the different business units.
  • A major company sold its packaging division to a financial investor. Bain conducted a strategic due diligence during the acquisition period. After this successful transaction, Bain was asked by the client to develop and implement a full potential plan, which resulted in increased profits within the desired timeframe.
